Working Principle

The hydrogen‑oxygen bonds in water molecules absorb near‑infrared light at specific wavelengths. At the designated wavelength, the energy of reflected near‑infrared light is inversely proportional to the near‑infrared energy absorbed by water molecules in the material. The moisture content of the tested material is calculated based on the amount of energy loss.

The probe of the instrument is an intelligent component that performs all system measurement and processing functions internally, directly outputting calibrated measurement values. It can also generate display content for microcomputers and touchscreen computers.
